shipped from Ronkonkoma, New York to Burlington, Vermont for $143.99
I needed a small dresser to be shipped from NY to VT and the place I bought it from gave me a very steep price to deliver it. I contacted UPS freight, and other shippers directly and it wasn't much better. I wasn't sure what to expect from uShip but I gave it a try. The best decision! I got a couple o bids a little above of my maximum willing to pay amount but then Mr. K. from Greyhound gave me a bid about 50% lower than my max. I Checked on his background and it seemed good so I accepted the bid. I saved over 50% plus his services couldn't be any better, he went out of his way to accommodate my needs. Very pleased!
