The winning bidder for my shipper had a problem with the fees and deposit. Winning Bid was $2100. What I expected to pay...$2100. Shipper tried to tell me that the match deposit I gave does not go to them? I understand there was a fee for uShip (approx $40 on this shipment) but when it is collected and shown as part of a deposit, it appears as if the shipper (transport company) pays this and is deducted from what they get paid. My winning bidder tried to tell me that I owed them the complete bid of $2100 and what I gave as a deposit is your fee that they never get so therefore my total shipment cost was $2271.90? Is this correct? If so a very misleading practice and I will keep it in mind should I choose to use this service again. Thanks.
