"Migrating furniture"
shipped from Carpinteria, California to Lexington, Kentucky for $950.00
My ancestors came to America from Europe in the 19th century and earlier. Some went west immediately, and others took their time. My grandparents, my parents, and my generation were all raised in California. But I'm in academia, which has taken me to many different zip codes and even continents. I now live in Kentucky. This shipment was a collection of furniture pieces that had come down my family tree, which means most of them made the trip west many years ago. Now, in this shipment from California back to Kentucky, they have retraced some of those steps. Thanks UShip, for being part of this long migration story!
