Bought a boat from a broker sight unseen, had it surveyed by a guy I didn't know then I accepted a bid on U-ship from a guy with no feedback at all. Of course the marine surveyor was accredited and unrelated to the broker. The surveyor spoke well of the brokerage firm saying it was a very reputible company. My shipper provided me with the names of four boat manufacturers that he shipped for regularly. Needless to say, I checked them all out and recieved nothing but praise. Shippers cargo insurance was considerable and valid. Not being a naturally trusting person, I stuggled with this purchase. It is pleasing to come across a system like U-ship that rewards people for honor. I was happy to provide positive feedback for my shipper as he was certainly a man of his word.
