When my parents told me they were selling the house I grew up in after 30+ years I was definitely emotional. One of the items that I was offered from the house was the custom pool table they had built in 1970. While I have no place to put it right now, it has a huge value to me having grown up playing both pool and ping pong on it. I looked into what it might cost to get it shipped from the Bay Area to Phoenix and it didn't look like I was going to be able to pull it off. That was until I looked into uShip. I got an amazing bid from a local company here in the Valley of the Sun and they did a terrific job disassembling the table and shipping that along with the ping pong table top and many boxes containing memories from my life growing up in my folks house.
