I purchased a 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser from a gentleman in northern California and needed it shipped to southern California (app. 450 miles). The U-Ship website has the best user interface (by far!) and the best policies regarding privacy and contact between the potential service providers and the client. I tried a few other brokers at the same time as U-Ship and I'm still getting spam from shippers who got my info from the other brokers. The service provider I chose from U-Ship was Folsom Transport. He had the second lowest quote I received from any of the brokerages I had tried (the first lowest was not a quote but rather a request to transport that may or may not have been accepted). Martin at Folsom Transport is a very competent and professional person to deal with. He was also very personable and I even received an e-mail from the vehicle's previous owner thanking me for sending such a nice person to complete our transaction. I will definitely use U-Ship again and will look for Folsom Transport's quote as it will carry extra weight when I decide which quote to accept.
