Ok, so basically I was relocating from my apartment in Washington back to my home in Iowa after a year of college. I was going to go to school closer to home so I was packing it up and heading out. However, I wasn't sure where to turn. I surfed the internet and came across uShip. I wasn't too sure about it but I thought I'd give it a shot. I posted my listing a week or two before I was flying out and at first there wasn't much response. But as things came down to the wire and it looked like I was going to be spending a fortune on standard ground shipping, I got a bid. I was shipping my music stuff, guitars, keyboard, trumpet, just the important stuff. The bid was a little high at first, but I asked some questions and set some things up and we managed to settle on something more reasonable for me. I was set, but I still had a lot to do. I had to get everything ready in a couple days and I needed to make sure everything was just right because I was going to be at the airport about the time my service provider was showing up. I managed to get ready at the last minute, I was still packing when my ride to the airport showed up. But I got everything collected and was worried because I had ended up with three rather large and heavy boxes that I hadn't expected or included in the listing. I left for the airport with the hopes of things working out, because if they didn't I would have been sunk. However, as I was waiting for my plane I got a call and was relived to find that everything would fit for another $30, which I thought was quite reasonable considering how heavy and large those boxes were. I was so relieved that everything worked out. A couple days after I got back to Iowa, a red van showed up with all my stuff; everything traveled well and made it safely. It was a great experience. I was so glad I found uShip and saved several hundred dollars and didn't have to worry about the safety of my stuff. I would definately recommend uShip and look forward to using it again.
