I purchaced a tractor with loader and backhoe.The seller lived in NJ. and I live in Washington state. A long ways to ship and lot of high costs just to get it to my home. I asked myself,Should I drive and buy a trailer and pull it back with my pickup. No way the price of Diesel and hotels,food ware and tare on the pickup,showed me that was out of the question.Next I called around to see about renting a Uhaul or alike truck for a one way haul.No way agin,add in air fare,food; lodging and fuel plus the cost of the rental. That was out of this world for for me to pay.Next I started calling around to shipping companies,there price was better than my other options. But still there must be a less expensive way out there? I have purchaced a lot of things on Ebay so when I saw uship on the web, I was happy I found the site. The uship site was like Ebay,and easy for me to use. I saved almost Half off shipping with uship. The company I chose gave me Excellent service,I got the tractor on time and for crossing the country,it was in great shape too. This was my first use of this service,but if I want to hire a shipper agin,I won't waste my time calling shippers. Maybe just to get a feel of the market prices. I'll use "uship" agin.
