I'm not sure if I saved any money - but that wasn't what I was looking to do. I was looking to ship the crib and dresser to my daughter - who is expecting her first baby and our first grand daughter! I purchased the set at a charity auction and the cost was so low that the shipping costs were well within our budget for the furniture!
The driver from Legal was very professional and managed to get the dresser up to the 3rd floor of a house that's 135+ years old!
