I've been trying to restore a 77 porsche for a little over a year. The orriginal engine needed machine work so that was done but the main bearings are not available now. This lead me to purchase another engine off ebay which after dissasembly needed machine work also. About a month ago I saw another engine on ebay up in New York. Since I'm in Georgia it would not be economical to drive the 1800 mile 4 day round trip to get the engine especially with gas prices soaring. The seller suggested "USHIP" so I started communication with them and within a few hours I had a quote from two shippers. within a few days the engine was in my driveway. Just to let you know the engine just needed new gaskets and some cleaning. It's going in next week and should finally get my car on the road. Overall I saved about 200 dollars on gas, 3 nights in a hotel room and 4 days of driving. Thanks Uship.
