I was shipping some furniture from NY to California and hired Robert Benedict to do the job. The price was GOOD compared to every other method of moving I looked into. What I learned was to ask the shipper specific questions about timing and scheduling. I ended up not being able to wait for him to pick up the delivery, so I had to leave a key. It all worked out in the end, and I've already scheduled another delivery through a Uship provider. I looked around AGAIN and could not find ANY company that could match this kind of pricing. I saved at least $500 on my next shipment, and THEY are going to load & unload it! That's worth it! For a shipment that is costing me about $1100, other companies were asking from $1600(I pack and unpack) to as high as $4300(UPS "POD" drop off). The average price I was getting for full service was $2500. I'll take the Uship guy!
