I purchased a boat in Kingston,Ontario Canada. I live in Vernon,British Columbia Canada. I initially received quotes from Canadian boat haulers. They were exceptionally high. A friend suggested I try uShip website. Mark Rinker (Mark Rinker Enterprises)accepted my bid (which was lower than any Canadian bid) being an American hauler, he spent days researching methods on how to transport my boat between two destinations in Canada. He contacted a courier service who initially gave him incorrect information about the legalities of shippng to two destinations in Canada. After picking up my boat in Canada, reaching the American Customs,crossing into the United States,they held him up for two days at the border with "paper work". (he thought it could be four of five days).Being very persistant and determined to solve problems as they arose he succeeded in crossing into the United States,driving the U.S.freeways (I think they required about 10 "oversize" permits and back into Canada. Mark was fantastic in keeping me updated with his progress by e-mail and telephone. I knew where he was located all the time throughout his journey. Upon arrival in Vernon he helped me unload the boat an place it in the water. It had not been running for about two months so he gave me advice on how to start the engines. Mark is a credit to his professsion and I would highly recommend him to any clients of uShip. I intend to give other boat owners his name and have him move their boats. I would use Mark Rinker again in a heart beat.
