I live in Montreal and planed to spend the winter in Florida on my Eider II, a 25 feet Catalina sailing boat. Because the northern part of the trip (Montreal to Norfolk) is difficult in cold wheater (November and April) I chosed to move the boat on trailer. My car is not pwerfull enough for the 7,000 lb. charge on so long distances. Both ways I used Uship biding sistem to find a provider and each time the price was about 40% less as the proposals I had from the marinas. Both shipings was smouth, with good communication and I have to deal with very nice people. In order to keep things simple I do not ask the transport from/until Montreal but only to the border (30 miles to Montreal). As the owner of the boat I may pass much easier the border. My service provider to Norfolk was rimrockindiesel44 and from Norfolk markes64 I appreciated a lot the professionalism of the providers and the Uship service, especially the reference system. If needed I will use Uship again and aready I recomended it to others. P.S. Will be nice if Uship add a spelling feature in his web site
