I made a beautiful but impulsive buy on ebay of a victorian style sofa from a seller 200 miles away! I thought I wold have figured out a way to get it without much trouble! All my original options fell through and I found out that u haul would have been 140.00 plus gas plus all the inconvenience of driving a total of 400 miles! I would also have had to have a friend drive for me since I would not be confident driving such a vehicle for so many hours. I tried u ship and got a bid immediately which was immediately cheaper than uhaul. The shipper sent regular emails and communicated with my seller. On the morning of my delivery I did not get my calls because my cell phone battery was dead but the shipper patiently searched for my address (my apartment complex is a maze.) He was very courteous and worked hard and quickly. I didn'thave to worry about packing, unloading or off loading. I think uship could greatly reduce u haul's business!!
