Taking off the counterweight all reduces the weight by 20,000 , take out the bucket, reduces extra 2500lbs. This is good just to haul the unit to the port. However, in your scenario, to get savings, the entire boom and stick will need to be taken out. These are the possible nums, $1000 to move to Arlington where the boom will be taken out, $2750 to take out boom and stick,$4850 to load boom ,stick and bucket into a 40ft ocean container to Ho Chin Minh,$19,500 to transport to Galveston and ship RORO to Ho city.This runs into $28,100 against shipping it at $32,000 as a whole. Also consider the cost of putting it together at your destination and cost of clearing the container at destination. I strongly suggest you ship as one piece. My driver is at standby to move it out of RB tomorrow if need be

Moving a 124,000lbs equipment requires an 11 axle truck which is not readily available. Sometimes it takes 10days minimum to position one. The driver we had there on thursday is about to run another load.Please advise me your stand on this load
