Response: ctaylor82, I had the marine survey man and salesman take measurements and found with the blocks (23") under the boat the hieght is 13' 0" with the radome and antenna down. (Just boat itself is 11' 1".) I also contacted Rinker themselves and comfirmed hieghts, they comfirmed that the arch's on the 342 Rinker boats were all under 13' 6". Thanks, Rick4/17/2011

Response: Transporter, ** According to Rinker the arch does not have to be removed for transport. The surveyer and salesman took measurements for me. The boat is 12'3" with radome on and 11'1" with radome removed from arch. ** When would your estimated pickup and delivery of the boat be? You ask me to re-bid but you have not accepted. What are waitng on? We are booking for the week of the 15th. We do transports on a first-come, first-serve basis. This is boat season and most transporters can run up to 30 days booked. It will be hard to get a transporter at the spur of the moment. You will need to get on someone's schedule.

Response: Your communication skills up to this point were lacking to say the least with your one word comments and or answers. You now sound irritated which as a service provider does not make me comfortable considering you would be hauling my boat worth #150,000.00 +-. Your orginal bid was in the range of 7000 - 8000 so, thanks but no thanks. I know its boat hauling season but I do not think its worth 3000 - 4000 dollars more!! Response: : I am not irritated at all. Usually when someone asks you to re-bid they are ready to accept your bid, therefore I thought there was a problem. Wasn't trying to offend you at all. As for the rate, when the season changes, the price goes up. Its simply supply and demand. It appears that my last bid is competitive with the bids you are currently receiving. If you read my latest feedback, you will see that I just delivered a 340 Sea Ray to Illinois and I currently have a 330 Sea Ray on the trailer so we are very good at what we do and our clients have lots of confidence in our abilities. This has been quite the process as it is hard to decide upon a shipping company without having met the person that will be hauling precious cargo. I would prefer to pay through pay pal as it is an avenue which is more secure for me. I am concerned however at how long they may take to process and I do not want any issues with the shipment due to this. I would like to know that nothing will be delayed as long as you have proof from pay pal that they have the funds. The other thing is that your company profile doen't include Canada and we want to make sure everything goes well at the Border. We are included in that group but all you can go by is what prior customers have to say about their experiences with the transporter. I've transported many boats and most of the time, I don't meet the owners until delivery. At some point you just have to trust the transporter. With us,you can see that we've transported very expensive boats. Some well over $200k. We will treat your boat just the same. And remember, I told you that I own a Carver Mariner 350, so I know how to treat boats. Now with that said paypal will be fine on the initial payment because the funds will have had time to clear before pickup.
