Hello Shipper; Do you have a valid state title for this jeep? Assuming that this is a US documented vehicle that is being imported to Canada, you will need a valid title to export this jeep from the US. We will be in the Portland area between May 9 to 11 and could bring this jeep back then, for a reasonable price. Thanks!Report a Violation
Response: Yes I have A valid title for this vehicle. The vehicle runs and has brakes , however comes with several unattached parts that would fit in a container 4x4x4 , or in the jeep itself. what is your price? Thanx4/27/2012Report a Violation
Response: : Hi David; I may have spoken a little too soon. I was planning on using a rental trailer and for some unknown reason, the rates on this route are really bad; over $300 one-way. Thus my bid would have to be about $1,200. But I can also handle all the customs saving you about $200 or so in brokerage fees. Hi David; I found a better deal on the trailer; I can do this for $995 including customs clearance (no brokerage fees). But pickup has to be May 11th with delivery the following day. The extra stuff can either go in the jeep or the back of my 3500 pick up. Thanks!Report a Violation

Response: the previous owner agrees to the pickup date of may 11 2012. Would you be able to provide an approximate time? Is the jeep traveling on an open trailler?My only concern would be the windsheild. Response: : Hi David; Approximate pickup time on the 11th would be between 9 and 10 am. But I always confirm by cellphone with the other party, as the pickup time draws near. Transport will be on open trailer. My truck has large mud flaps and I have never had a windshield damaged on a towed vehicle. Price is $995; no HST on the transport service because this is an international trip but you will have to pay GST on the vehicle and probably HST on the parts, at the border. I will handle the export notification and the Canada Customs entry, for no extra charge, but you will have to reimburse me for the GST/HST charges from the border. Response: please place your bid. there should be no extra taxes on the parts. I contacted Canada customs regarding the extra parts, they said if I could document that the parts were included in the vehicle purchase then there would only be the vehicle import costs. look forward to the next step. I will be using the Oroville/Osoyoos crossing because US Customs, Blaine WA closes for vehicle exports at 3:30 pm Friday and they don't re-open until Monday. Response: : Without that, Canada Customs will not let me import the vehicle on your behalf and you would have to use a Customs broker. It's your choice, but the broker will charge about $200; I will include the service in my price for no extra charge. I have done this same procedure for many other clients with no problems.
