Job Title: Product Development Intern
Job Description:
uShip (www.uShip.com) is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join us as a Product Development Intern. This individual will work directly with the Product Development Team to develop new functionality for uShip.com. The perfect candidate must be a motivated self-starter with a real passion for the Internet. We are looking for part time or full time person depending on availability and experience. If you are interested in gaining real world internet industry experience, this position may be right for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in product requirements gathering and definition
- Collaborate with Management to prioritize and define key business needs
- Perform competitive research and present research findings to the team
- Review product performance reports to identify potential areas of improvement
- Work with Design Team on creating product design concepts
- Test new products before they go live to ensure a high level of quality
Job Requirements:
- A high level of familiarity with all things Internet. We are looking for someone who is fanatical about using and critiquing websites and online services
- Some college coursework in Business, Computer Science, or Marketing
- Exceptional organizational skills, note taking abilities, and project management experience is a plus
- A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. If you need constant hand-holding, this is not the position for you
