Job Title: Quality Assurance Intern

Job Description:

uShip is currently experiencing rapid growth as we scale our operations. We plan to continue and expand our development department and we are looking to hire a highly motivated, internet savvy Quality Assurance intern to join our team.

This is an outstanding, entry-level position for an individual who wishes to gain exposure to the dynamic atmosphere of an internet start-up. You will be working directly with the uShip management team and, although the primary focus of the position will be testing, you will have a unique opportunity to experience and contribute to all aspects of the entrepreneurial process.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist at a high level in all aspects of testing. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Testing products before launch
• Making sure features function as specified
• Reporting issues through our bug tracking system
• Interfacing directly with the product and development teams in planning when new features are ready for release

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Familiar with multiple internet browsers and multiple platforms
• Experience in using transaction based internet companies, such as eBay, Amazon, etc.
• Extremely comfortable communicating through various mediums (phone, email, IM, etc.)
• Experience using MS office products and working in a small team environment
• Highly motivated, and independent thinker, who can solve problems as they arise with limited supervision
• Must be extremely detail oriented
