uShip is seeking an Intern for our Strategy, Reporting, and Analytics group. The internship will be primarily devoted to working with the uShip database and performing SQL queries.
This position is based at uShip's corporate headquarters in Austin, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the SRA group through ad hoc analysis and SQL, Excel, etc.
- Track, monitor, and report on new initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience writing SQL queries/reporting
- Experience performing quantitative and statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel minimal supervision
Our Ideal Candidate would also have:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related discipline from a Top 30 Four-year-institution
- Experience in an entrepreneurial/startup environment
- Knowledge of internet related business metrics or experience working for a internet company
