Job Title: Junior Network & System Administrator
Job Description:
uShip is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a full time Jr. Network & System Administrator. If you are an exceptionally motivated, smart, and driven individual who wants to work in a fast-paced, ever changing start-up environment, this is the position for you.
This position is based at uShip's corporate headquarters in Austin, TX.
Job Requirements:
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring and diagnosing servers, PCs, and networks
- Working knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003, 2008 and Macintosh
- Ability to support Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other common desktop applications
- Strong customer service orientation to work with others
- Ability to juggle competing priorities
- 1-2 years experience preferred
Our Ideal Candidate would also have:
- Experience with MS SQL Server, MS Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server
- Experience with network monitoring techniques and applications
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting network appliances
