Thanks for all your feedback on the new tiered pricing structure that will be effective May 1, 2007. We have listened, and after carefully considering some of your comments, we have re-examined the potential effect on the marketplace and have made some changes to the program that we think will assist those TSP’s who specialize in smaller, lower value shipments, and thus were potentially the most affected under the new structure, as originally announced.

In response to overwhelming feedback from our community, on May 1, 2007, uShip will switch from its current policy of charging Service Providers a flat fee of 7.9% to a new tiered fee structure. This new tiered fee structure (much like the federal income tax brackets) results in a blended rate that will more accurately match fee amounts with the economic value that both Shippers and Service Providers receive from using the site.
