To enter the contest send a picture of your pet(s) in costume to pets@uship.com by November 6th at 5pm (CST) and your pretty pug princess or cute cat cupcake could win the prize! Once the submission deadline has passed, we will post the pictures and give you a chance to leave positive feedback for the costume you like the most. The pet with the most positive feedback will win a $250 gift card to PetSmart.
All *eligible entries* will be posted in an album on www.facebook.com/uship no more than 24 hours after they have been received; voting will continue until 5pm (CST) on November 11th. As soon as a photo is posted on the album, it is eligible to recieve votes, or "likes" on the facebook page. One "like" on facebook=one vote. Comments will not be counted as votes. Voters may vote on multiple dogs, but voters can only vote once for each dog. Make sure to tell your family and friends to visit our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/uShip and vote for your pet by hitting the “Like” button on their picture on our contest gallery.
The winner will be the pet that receives the most “like” votes on the facebook page by the November 11th deadline. The winner will be announced on this blog the week of Nov. 16th and notified via the email account used to submit the photo.
Eligibility: In order to be considered an *eligible entry,* submissions must be an original photo submitted by the owner of the pet(s). Contestants will not be allowed to submit more than one photo of each of their pets. Entries must be sent to pets@uship.com prior to the submission deadline (11/28/2009). Photos submissions will not be considered eligible for the contest unless they are sent in one of the following formats (jpg, gif, png). Attachments larger than 2MB will not be accepted. Eligible photos will be published in the Facebook gallery for voting in the order they are received.
One grand prize, a gift card valued at $250 will be awarded. Cash cannot be substituted for prizes. In the event of a tie, uShip will notify the winners and announce a 24-hr run-off competition which will include all photos with the greatest number of votes at the termination of the initial voting period.
The sponsors of this contest are animal lovers and strongly encourage pet owners to act responsibly and to avoid putting any pet in an uncomfortable situation. By participating in this contest, Pet owners and contest participants accept full responsibility for the consequences of attempting to put their pet into a costume and/or any other animal actions arising from or related to this contest.
Any entry, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor is deemed to be inappropriate for publication will be deemed ineligible. Once a picture is submitted it cannot be changed, altered or modified. Submissions may not violate any law, rule or regulation; and each entrant warrants and represents that his/her picture complies with all of those conditions. This Contest offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations.
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to this Contest.
